Justin gained advice about all aspects of self-employment with Enterprise Coaching via workshops and 1:2:1 coaching, with particular focus on legalities around business structure and Marketing.
He was also successful in securing a grant of £7K from Plymouth City Council via their Social Enterprise Investment Fund. This investment will help really help to propel the business forward.
With plans to install a converted VW van inside his coffee shop, Justin is now in talks for a possible location at Royal William Yard in Plymouth.
“I can’t recommend this enough. Stuart (and the Outset initiative) is like a Lighthouse for souls, lost at sea, wanting to find their island, and plant their flag. If I’d had this level of support in Oz, I’d probably never have left. Plymouth, you rock!!! And Stuart… thank you on behalf of my myself, and the extensive community enterprise that you help to create, build and benefit.”
